The Extra Yard 5K is a family-friendly 3.1 mile walk/run hosted in conjunction with the national championship game that offers locals as well as out-of-town fans a chance to take part in the national championship weekend. All proceeds benefit Extra Yard for Teachers, the College Football Playoff Foundation鈥檚 primary platform that elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering quality teachers.
